The City of Frisco conducted public hearings on August 25, 2008
and September 2, 2008 on a proposal to increase the total tax revenues
of the City of Frisco from properties on the tax roll in the preceding
year by 2.41 percent.
The total tax revenue raised last year at last year's tax rate of
$0.450000 for each $100 of taxable value was $56,076,730.
The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed
tax rate of $0.450000 for each $100 of taxable value, excluding tax
revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is
$53,383,090.
The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed
tax rate of $0.450000 for each $100 of taxable value, including tax
revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is
$56,812,219.
The City Council of City of Frisco is scheduled to vote on the tax
rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on
September 15, 2008 at George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, Council
Chambers, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd., Frisco, TX 75034 at 6:30 pm.
The City of Frisco reminds residents to follow ‘time of day’ water restrictions. The City of Frisco Water Conservation Plan restrictions have been effective daily since June 1 and prohibit:
- No outdoor watering between the hours of 5 a.m. and 8 a.m., and between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- No daily outdoor watering allowed during rainfall
- No excessive watering that allows water runoff to paved areas or other water waste.
