We are responsible for residential recycling and trash services, commercial building waste and recycling services, environmental education and outreach, and household hazardous waste safe disposal.

As the City of Frisco recognizes Independence Day, please note the delays in your weekly curbside services (recycle, trash, and yard waste) for the week of July 4 through July 2. Additionally, Environmental Services offices and the Household Chemical and Electronics Disposal and Reuse Center will be closed Wednesday, July 4.
If your regular service day is Wednesday, your collections will occur on Thursday, July 5. If your regular service day is Thursday, your collections will occur on Friday, July 6. If your regular service day is Friday, your collections will occur on Saturday, July 7. Services will resume as normal, on the regularly scheduled day starting July 9.
Next Chunk Your Junk is August 18 from 8 a.m. - noon at the Environmental Collection Center
Have Junk to Chunk before August? Visit our Environmental Collection Center on Wed 2 - 6 p.m. and Sat from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. to dispose of HHW and electronics. Single-stream recycling, cardboard, Styrofoam, oil, clothing donations, and batteries can be taken to our facility at 6616 Walnut St. from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Trash and yard waste can be taken to the Custer Transfer Station at 9901 Custer Road in Plano, open Mon-Sat 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Please bring your driver's license and a current Frisco water bill with matching address when you visit.
