Frisco Police Investigate Shooting

(August 27, 2016) On August 27, 2016 at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Frisco Police Department began receiving 911 calls in regards to a shooting in the parking lot of Woody’s Sports Restaurant located at 305 Main Street in Frisco. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals that had been injured. One individual had been shot twice and the other had an injury to his head. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals by the Frisco Fire Department with non-life threatening injuries. Responding officers determined the altercation began as a dispute over the way one of the individuals was driving in the parking lot.

Detectives and crime scene investigators responded to the scene and processed it for evidence and interviewed witnesses.

No charges have been filed at this time and the incident is still under investigation.
