Westbound Old Witt Road Closed Beginning Monday, November 28

(November 29, 2016) The westbound direction of Old Witt Road will be closed beginning Monday, November 28, as part of a project that will reconstruct Old Witt Road as a new concrete street. During this closure, Old Witt Road will be reduced to one lane of pavement and will become a one-way road in the eastbound direction.

As a result, traffic on FM 423 will not be able to turn onto Old Witt Road. Instead, traffic must use King Road to the north or Stonebrook Parkway to the south as alternate routes. Detour signs will be posted.

Residents of the Stonewater Crossing neighborhood who wish to use Old Witt Road to enter their neighborhood must use King Road and turn south onto Witt Road in order to reach their neighborhood entrance on Old Witt Road. Conversely, residents who exit their neighborhood onto Old Witt Road must turn right and travel to FM 423.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.

Please contact the Town of Little Elm with any questions regarding the timeframe and status of this construction project.
