Traffic Switch on Legacy Drive; Starting Monday, Chippewa Trail will be Closed at Legacy Drive

Chippewa Legacy Closure

(June 1, 2018) As part of the City’s Legacy Drive pavement reconstruction project, traffic patterns will be modified on Legacy Drive at Chippewa Trail on Monday, June 4. Northbound traffic on Legacy Drive will be switched so that north and southbound traffic will share the west half of the road while the contractor repairs the east half of the road. The traffic switch will start and end on either side of Chippewa Trail, which is about a half mile north of Lebanon Road. The traffic switch is expected to remain in place for one month.

Chippewa Trail will be closed at Legacy Drive during this month-long reconstruction project. Residents of the Cheyenne Village neighborhood will need to use Academy Drive to access Legacy Drive. Detour signs will be posted.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the area during the traffic switch and to watch for flaggers.
