The Frisco Municipal Court accepts the following forms of payment:
• Money Order
• Cashier’s Check
• Personal Check (except for warrants)
• VISA, American Express, Discover, MasterCard
When paying in person with a credit card, the person named on the card must appear in person at Court to pay with that card. A credit card transaction fee will be assessed for all credit card transactions. (Master Card Debit and VISA Debit card transactions are not assesed a fee in person.)
New! Municipal Court Night Drop Box:
The Frisco Municipal Court is now able to accept paperwork, payments, and filings outside of the court’s regular business hours thanks to a newly installed night deposit box located at the court’s main entrance, 6865 Main St.
The Frisco Municipal Court purchased the night deposit box to increase its level of customer services by providing a convenient option for handling citations or filing documents outside the court's regular business hours. Customers my use the box to leave payments, document filings, and hand delivered mail. Although the night deposit box is well lit and under video surveillance, customers are reminded to never deposit cash.
Please do not send cash by mail.
If your personal check is returned by the bank:
• A $35 fee will be charged for all returned checks, regardless of the reason for return.
• Payment for returned checks and fees must be by cash, money order or cashier’s check.
• Personal checks and credit cards will not be accepted to clear a returned check.
• It is the responsibility of the defendant to clear a returned check immediately.
The Court may issue a warrant for your arrest if the matter is not resolved in a timely manner.
Credit card payments will not be accepted through the mail or over the telephone, except through our automated telephone attendant (see below). Unless you pay using the phone attendant or online at this website, you must appear in person at the Court to pay with a credit card. Third-party credit cards will not be accepted without the cardholder present.
Personal checks will not be accepted for any case that has an outstanding warrant.
Payment By Phone
To determine your fine amount and/or pay your citation using our automated telephone attendant, please call 972-292-5555 and select Option #2. You will need your citation number and Texas driver’s license number to access this system. Please note that citations issued to juveniles ages 16 and younger can not be paid by telephone. These cases require a personal appearance at the Court.

Please note that warrant payments made by mail, phone, or online will not clear the warrant(s) until the Court receives and processes your payment. The court will usually receive your payment the following business day from the date you paid online or by phone. Until the payment is received and processed you are still subject to arrest.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT VOLUNTARY PAYMENT BY MAIL, PHONE, OR ONLINE WILL RESULT IN A CONVICTION AND WILL BE REPORTED TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND FORFEITS ANY RIGHT TO REQUEST A DRIVING SAFETY CLASS OR DEFERRED DISPOSITION FOR POSSIBLE DISMISSAL OF YOUR CITATION.
