The City of Frisco Health & Food Safety in partnership with the Frisco Independent School District
This non-certified course is mandatory for all concession stand workers and volunteers operating within Frisco, which includes city and FISD concession stands. Health & Food Safety partnered with Frisco Independent School District (FISD) to provide this course to you. The online course fee is $5.00. The course provides key food safety instruction helpful in achieving successful conscession stand sales. The passing score for the online quiz is 70 or greater.
Health & Food Safety offers these courses as an additional resource. If you have a Food Manager Certification or Food Handler Certification from an approved vendor, we will honor each in place of this required training. Frisco food establishments, other than concession stands, are required by Ordinance to provide one (1) Certified Food Manager at all times of operation.
Online Course - login to www.topfoodsafety.com, choose "Frisco, Texas Concession Training", follow instructions, pay $5.00 fee, and begin. YOU WILL HAVE FOURTEEN (14) DAYS TO COMPLETE THE COURSE AND QUIZ. Good luck! If you do not pass with a score of 70 or greater, or you let 14 days lapse before the course is completed, please register again.
Classroom Course - FREE. Please contact Health & Food Safety by phone or email providing your name, telephone number number, and concession stand you'll be working. If requested and there are enough participants, classes will be held at the Frisco Senior Center, located at 6670 Moore Street, Frisco, TX 75034. If you have any questions, please contact Health & Food Safety at (972) 292-5304 or firstname.lastname@example.org
