The WaterWise Block Captain program is a great way to get to know your neighbors and be a key part of the grass roots effort to spread information about the city's water efficiency and water quality programs.
The city invites residents to join the Block Captain Program and help us build a successful program in your neighborhood.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
We will provide you with:
• Monthly email that includes timely updates, upcoming events, initiatives and programs.
• Tips on how to reach out to your neighbors and tools, such as introduction cards, free moisture meters, leak detector tablets, and educational literature.
• Information to help you accurately answer water-related questions.
• Training to further educate you about the program.
HOW TO VOLUNTEER AS A WATERWISE BLOCK CAPTAIN
Block Captains are asked to do their best at educating the neighbors on their chosen blocks. We encourage Block Captains to organize block parties, take part in their HOA communications, participate in neighborhood events, and get creative in developing your own unique way of passing along water efficiency information to neighbors.
