Home School Groups

Frisco Fire Safety Town offers a variety of Safety Education Programs for home-schooled children (in kindergarten through fifth grade) during Home School Days at the start of each school year.

Registration for 2014-2015 starts August 4th, 2014.

Our 2014 Home School Days are August 18-29.

Class Times:  10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. -3:30 p.m.

The planned schedule of programs offered will be:

Mon - Intro to 911
Tues - Motor Vehicle Safety
Wed - Fire Safety
Thurs - Bicycle Safety
Fri - Severe Weather Safety

We understand the uniqueness of a home school group and will accommodate a variety of ages for a single program. Younger siblings are welcome to accompany you for the program but will not participate in activities or bike rides. Please have your students wear PE attire and tennis shoes. Additionally, dress for the current weather conditions, since we will be outside during part of our program.

Our safety programs are about 1 1/2 hours long and include bike rides in our village. Our scheduling guidelines call for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 25 students to reserve a spot. Home school group leaders are able to reserve a program for their groups in advance using our online registration for school year link under the Programs tab. We encourage home school groups to take advantage of our Home School Days to ensure a visit for the current school year. Due to the extensive number of required groups from Frisco Independent School District, we cannot guarantee a spot after September 1.

If you are trying to schedule after September 1, please call our main number at 972.292.6350. Our schedule coordinator will let you know if we can accommodate your requested topic on a given date.
