(UPDATE-June 25, 2014 - 3 p.m.)  Frisco Fire investigators say lightning caused last night's house fire on San Andres Drive.  Damage estimates range between $400,000 - $500,000, which includes structure and contents. 

(June 24, 2014 – 8:18 p.m.)  The cause of an evening house fire is under investigation.   

Dispatchers received a call at 6:47 p.m. about a house fire in the 2100 block of San Andres Drive.   

When firefighters arrived at 6:51 p.m., they found the two-story home engulfed in heavy flames and smoke.   

Four engines, a ladder truck, an ambulance and a rescue vehicle responded. Firefighters had the blaze under control at 7:49 p.m.  

Firefighters say a neighbor called 911.  No one was home when the fire started; however, firefighters say the caller managed to rescue dogs from the home.  

No one was hurt.  Damage estimates are unknown at this time.
