FREE TREE PRUNING WORKSHOP TO BE HELD FEB. 23

(February 9, 2013)  Proper pruning promotes new growth in trees.  But do you know the best time of year to trim your trees in Frisco?

Frisco’s Urban Forestry Board (UFB) has the answer.  UFB is sponsoring a tree pruning workshop Saturday, February 23 at Frisco Commons, 8000 McKinney Road.  The free workshop will start at 9:00 a.m.

UFB member Rob Wier, who is a professional nurseryman, will demonstrate proper pruning tools and techniques during the workshop.

This free event is open to all residents interested in improving their knowledge of pruning and trimming trees in landscapes.  Attendees need to meet at Frisco Commons’ main pavilion.
