OVERNIGHT HOUSE FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION

(July 21, 2013) The cause of an overnight house fire in Frisco is under investigation.

The call was initially dispatched as a ‘smoke investigation’ at 3:48 a.m. in the 700 block of Burr Oak, which is in the Grayhawk subdivision.  When firefighters arrived at 3:56 a.m., they found ‘heavy’ fire in the rear of the two-story house.  Firefighters had the flames ‘under control’ by approximately
5:16 a.m.

No one was home when fire broke out.  Investigators say the home has a ‘for sale’ sign posted and was furnished, though no one has been seen at the home in several days.

Four engines, a truck company, as well as the department’s Special Operations and Rehab units responded to the fire.  No one was hurt.
