Park meetings continue tonight 

(UPDATED) (February 6, 2014) The second in a series of public meetings aimed at gathering information for design of the new Northeast Community Park takes place tonight. 

Frisco Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the meetings to discuss ideas for the 75-acre community park near the intersection of Panther Creek Parkway and Coit Road, Four public meetings will offer residents a chance to offer input for the design of the park. Two of the meetings will solely focus on the design of Frisco's highly anticipated skate park, located within Northeast.

Overall Park Master Plan Meetings
Wednesday, February 5, and Thursday, March 6
6:30 p.m. at Roach Middle School, 12499 Independence Parkway

Skate Park Master Plan Meetings
Thursday, February 6, and Thursday, March 27
7 p.m. at The Depot at Heritage Village

A park master plan will be created using resident feedback gathered from the public meetings, along with direction from City Council, CDC Board and the Parks and Recreation Board. The master planning process is expected to take six to eight months.
