Teel Parkway section closed overnight, August 7
(August 6, 2014) Northbound Teel Parkway -- just south of Stonebrook Pkwy -- will be closed Thursday night, August 7, while Coserv replaces some power poles. The northbound side of the road will close at 10 p.m. Thursday night and will reopen by 5 a.m. Friday morning (August 8).
During this road closure, only local neighborhood traffic will be allowed on northbound Teel Pkwy., north of Timber Ridge Drive (see attached map). All other northbound traffic on Teel Parkway will be diverted west onto Timber Ridge Drive and then north on Lone Star Ranch Parkway as an alternate route to Stonebrook Pkwy. Detour signs will be posted. Northbound Teel Pkwy. will be closed to all traffic between Benson Drive and Stonebrook Pkwy.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to seek an alternate route in advance. Motorists can avoid the detour by using Lebanon Road to travel to Lone Star Ranch Parkway or to Legacy Drive in order to go around the road closure.
County Rd. 68 closure extended to August 11
The County Rd. 68 (CR 68) closure has been extended to Monday, August 11, weather permitting. Until then, motorists can use Rolater Rd. or S.H. 121 as alternate routes.
