(December 16, 2011) The southbound Dallas North Tollway (DNT) and the southwest-bound Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT) will each be reduced to one lane at the DNT/SRT interchange between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18. In addition, three entrance and exit ramps near the interchange will be closed at the same time. The details of each closure are described below. View the NTTA map of thiS weekend's closures.
The Dallas North Tollway will be reduced to one lane in the southbound direction between Gaylord Parkway and the Sam Rayburn Tollway. Motorists should expect delays during the day on Saturday and Sunday and can use the Dallas Parkway frontage road as an alternate route.
The Sam Rayburn Tollway will be reduced to one lane in the southwest-bound direction between the Dallas North Tollway and Legacy Drive. Motorists should expect delays during the day on Saturday and Sunday and can use the SH 121 frontage road as an alternate route.
The following ramps will be closed:
· The southbound DNT entrance ramp just south of Gaylord Parkway
· The northbound DNT entrance ramp just north of Headquarters Drive
· The southwest-bound SRT exit ramp to Legacy Drive
These road closures are part of NTTA’s interchange construction project. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to choose an alternate route in advance.
