Storm debris pickup services offered 

(December 6, 2013) Free storm debris service will occur on your normal service day during the week of Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20. [UPDATE 12.30.13: Collection has been extended through the week of December 30-January 4.]

Service is limited to trees and limbs only, no fencing or tree stumps. Guidelines are as follows:

  • Each tree or limb must be no more than 8 inches in diameter, weigh less than 80 pounds and cannot exceed 15 feet in length.

  • Tree debris must be removed from personal property before collection can occur. 
  •  
  • Place tree debris at the curb or alley, whichever is closest to where damage occurred.
  •  
  • Be sure to keep tree debris out of the street and be careful not to obstruct pedestrian walkways.
  •  
  • Do not place tree debris on your driveway or near your garage as this will result in non-collection. 
  •  
  • Tree debris that does not meet guidelines will not be collected.
  •  
  • Pick up must be scheduled.
  •  
  • Services are provided to residential homes only (no commercial accounts).
  •  
  • For homeowner association property and residents in gated communities with private roads, contact your property management company for collection services.

To sign up for service, contact Environmental Services at 972-292-5900 and choose the #7 option. Requests for service must be scheduled at least two days prior to regular service day during the week of December 16. Please leave your name, telephone number, address, remind us of your regular service day and provide the location of the debris. Specify if it is at the curb or alley.

Do it yourself disposal is available at the Custer Road Transfer Station at 9901 Custer Road. Hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. It is closed Sunday. Call 972-727-6341 for information. Frisco resident identification is required: current Frisco water bill and valid Texas driver’s license.

Fence posts must be free of concrete. Box trucks and flat bed trailers are not accepted at this facility.

Additional disposal is available at 121 Regional Disposal Facility, 3802 Highway 121, in North Melissa, 972-837-4015.  If you are using a box truck or flat bed trailer, contact Environmental Services at 972-292-5900 prior to your visit to 121 Regional Disposal Facility only.
