Civil Engineering manages the planning, design, and construction of public infrastructure for the City of Frisco, including roadways, water lines, sanitary sewers, storm water and drainage improvements. These projects are called Capital Projects when funded and contracted by the City.
Civil Engineering maintains the Engineering Standards and assures that infrastructure dedicated to the City is designed and built in conformance with those standards by ongoing inspection of the construction work.
A report listing active design and construction projects, their status and anticipated timeframes is updated monthly and provided to the City Council and the public. See the Monthly Report for more information about a particular project, and contact the Project Manager with any concerns.
