Brinkman / PD-7 amendment (Z12-0018) 



To amend Planned Development - 7 to rezone 177.2± acres

     FROM:   PD-7/Shopping Center/Single Family/Multifamily
     TO:         Retail, Single Family-7 and Multi-Family-19

And to amend the boundaries of the Retail Districts.

The NE and NW corners of Coit and Main


Request Details:

When the right-of-way of Coit Road was obtained for the widening of this thoroughfare, a portion of the land zoned for Retail and PD-7 Shopping Center was reduced. The property owner requested the land area associated with the Retail and Shopping Center parcels maintain the original acreage. The zoning change will result in the reduction of approximately 6 acres of land zoned for Multifamily-19.

In addition, as part of the on-going process to reassess and simplify older Planned Development Districts, the City is requesting the PD-7 can be rezoned to the current zoning districts of Single Family-7, Retail, and Multi-Family-19.
