We’re inviting everyone to join us for the City of Frisco’s fourth annual Safety Palooza to be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Baylor Medical Center of Frisco in conjunction with the 10th Annual Baylor Health Fair. The party is a kickoff for one of the biggest community celebrations of the year: Frisco Community Awareness Night -- or Frisco CAN.
Safety Palooza is a great opportunity to get to know the men and women of Frisco’s police and fire departments. First responders will be on-hand all afternoon to answer questions and show off many of their “tools of the trade” used when emergencies happen. See the police department’s Motors Unit demonstrate their competitive motorcycle skills, and peek inside a CareFlite helicopter.
Baylor Medical Center of Frisco will be offering health screening and family activities.
Do you have a safety plan for your family? Dispatchers with the Frisco Police Department’s Communications Division will be providing useful information to get you started. Kids can practice their 911 emergency calls, and children’s fingerprint identification kits will be available at no cost. Even McGruff the Crime Dog, Sparkie, and the Frisco Fire Department Clowns will be part of the party.
Baylor Medical Center of Frisco is located at 5601 Warren Parkway, between Legacy Drive and Dallas Parkway.
