Welcome to Environmental Services

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Trash and recycle services will run AS NORMAL the week of June 29-July 3.  There WILL NOT be any delays to service since Independence Day, July 4, takes place on a Saturday this year.

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

The Environmental Services offices and the Environmental Collection Center WILL BOTH BE CLOSED in observance of Independence Day on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.

CHUNK YOUR JUNK

The next Chunk Your Junk will happen on Saturday, August 15 at 6616 Walnut Street.

Chunk Your Junk takes place from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.  Frisco residents with a utility billing account can donate, recycle or throw away common household items.

Don't want to wait?  Visit our Environmental Collection Center on Wed 2-6 p.m. and Sat from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.  Learn more about what we accept during open hours.

Trash can be taken to the Custer Transfer Station at 9901 Custer Road in Plano, open Mon-Sat 8am-4pm.  Please bring your driver's license and a current Frisco water bill with matching address when you visit.

ILLEGAL DUMPING

Please note: we ask that residents do not drop off ANY items outside of our Environmental Collection Center or Environmental Services when we are CLOSED.  Many people do not realize that this is considered ILLEGAL DUMPING and may be prosecuted as such.  One reason for this is that items dumped outside of Environmental Services, especially dangerous chemicals, may become a nuisance and pose harm to children and/or animals.

If our gate is closed and locked, this means that our facilities are CLOSED and we are unable to accept items until we reopen to the public.  Even if inclement weather forces the Environmental Collection Center to close, the illegal dumping rules still apply.  We appreciate residents' understanding in this matter.  If you have questions or would like to verify the Collection Center's hours, please feel free to call us at 972-292-5900 or email us at EnvironmentalServices@FriscoTexas.gov.
