Below are some questions frequently asked. If you have a question not found below, feel free to contact Frisco Fire Safety Town's main number at 972.292.6350, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or email us at Safetytown@friscofire.com. (We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.)

Do you hold birthday parties at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
We do NOT hold parties at Frisco Fire Safety Town.  But the Frisco Fire Department has a long-standing tradition of hosting children’s educational birthday parties at each of Frisco's fire stations.  Residents who interested in scheduling a birthday party at one of our fire stations should see the Frisco Fire Dept. Birthday Party page  or contact our Community Education Hotline at 972.292.6351.

Do I have to schedule a Safe & Sound Walk-Around (tour) or can I just show up?
We encourage you to pre-schedule your Safe & Sound Walk-Around (educational tour). This ensures that we do not have a conflicting program at the same time. Please call our main number to schedule your tour 972.292.6350 or email us at safetytown@friscofire.com.

How do I schedule a program (class) at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
School year study trips and scout programs, as well as spring and summer break programs, can be scheduled online using our Programs tab above.  Once your registration is submitted, a confirmation will be emailed.  (Your request is considered pending until you receive the confirmation email.)  

What ages may attend classes at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
Frisco Fire Safety Town has programs designed for children who are attending or have completed kindergarten through fifth grades. Safe and Sound Walk-Around educational tours are available daily for those who are too young for safety programs. 

May other school districts and groups attend programs at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
Yes!  Frisco Independent School District schools have the first option of scheduling through mid-October each school year.  Any remaining open program dates are offered to other groups and districts. Our spring and summer break programs are open to the public.   

Is there anything for my preschooler to do at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
Preschoolers are invited to attend a Safe & Sound Walk-Around (educational tour) of Frisco Fire Safety Town.  The tour  features a kid-friendly fire engine that children love to explore! Youngsters are invited to practice crosswalk safety and pedestrian skills in our mini-town after the tour. (Jeep and bike rides are not part of the tour.) 

Is there a fee to attend the programs?
There is no fee for our visitors.  All tours, programs and events are funded by the City of Frisco and the generosity of our sponsors. 

How do we get to ride a bike or jeep?
After a classroom program is completed, children get the chance to participate in the outdoor activities within Frisco Fire Safety Town. 

What do you sell in your store?
Our Frisco Fire Safety Town General Store is inside our educational building.  We sell t-shirts, ball caps, pencils, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, weather radios and other items for adults and children.  We also have Frisco Fire Department and Safety Town apparel.  - Frisco Fire Department t-shirts and outerwear!
