Stormwater Utility Fees

Stormwater Utility Fee

The Frisco City Council adopted the fee in January 2009 in order to address state-mandated stormwater regulations from the August 2007 general permit.  In January 2015 the fees were increased in order to address the requirements from the December 2013 general permit.

The collected fees are used to cover the cost of programs required to comply with the TCEQ General Permit to discharge stormwater. The purpose is to reduce stormwater pollution. To learn more about these programs click here.
