Register 4 or more participants in a single transaction in Group Registration and receive $5 off each registration for both Merry Mile and Frosty 5K registrations. Additional participants cannot be added after transaction is complete. Can be combined with other offers.

Frosty 5K & Merry Mile participants receive a long-sleeve commemorative t-shirt. The first 1,000 participants to register receive a Frosty 5K beanie! Registered Frosty 5K finishers receive a Frosty 5K finisher medal. Merry mile participants receive a Merry Mile ribbon.
Fire & Ice Challenge
Runners who registered and completed the Hotter n' Firecrackers 5K on July 3, 2019 and also register and complete the Frosty 5K on December 7, 2019 receive the Fire & Ice Challenge medal.
5K Race Divisions
Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Individuals wishing to walk the course are also welcome.
11 and under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
5K Race Awards and Chip Timing
Awards will be presented to the Best Overall and Masters Male/Female, Master's Awards for Male and Female 40 and over, as well as the top three male/female age group finishers. You must war a timing tag to be timed and eligible for awards.
Walkers are welcome to participate! Main Street reopens at 10 a.m. and all participants who have not crossed to the south side of Main Street by that time must use sidewalks, crosswalks, and obey traffic laws. Police will be present to assist with crossing. See course map.
Parking for this event is in the City Hall parking garage on Page Street.
Dogs are welcome to participate alongside their owners in the Frosty 5K & Merry Mile. However, according to the City's ordinance, all dogs must be on a leash and have up-to-date vaccinations. Runners racing with a canine companion or stroller will begin in the last corral.
A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to S.O.A.R. (Scholarship Opportunities for Activities and Recreation) Charitable Fund. This scholarship program allows qualified Frisco residents to participate in recreation programs and special events at no cost.
In-Kind Sponsor Opportunity
The City of Frisco Parks and Recreation Department expects approximately 2,000 runners to participate in this annual race. The In-Kind Sponsor opportunity is now closed for the 2019 event.
