Food Establishment Requirements

Frisco requires one (1) Certified Food Manager on duty at all hours of operation, per establishment. On September 1, 2016, Frisco began enforcement of additional State requirements that mandate each food service worker to successfully complete an accredited Food Handler course.

Only ANSI-accredited or Texas Department of State Health Services-accredited courses will be accepted. See the following:

Only one (1) Certification is required per person.
The Food Manager Certification is more rigorous and will be accepted in lieu of a Food Handler Certification.
