Description: A request to amend a portion of Ordinance No. 12-11-75 consisting of 64.1± acres on the northeast corner of Coit Road and Main Street (“Property”), to amend the Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 11-04-09, as amended) and to rezone the property from Single Family-7, Multifamily-19, Retail to Single-Family-7, Patio Home, and Retail. Z18-0022: Repeal Planned Development-6
Description: A request to repeal Ordinance No. 15-07-43 and amend Frisco’s Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 11-04-09, as amended, to retain Specific Use Permit (S-256) for a Private Street development, Ordinance No. 16-06-47, and to repeal all other ordinances governing the zoning of that certain property described in Ordinance No. 15-07-43, generally located on the east side of Coit Road, 1,910.0± feet south of Eldorado Parkway, and to rezone 56.3± acres of said property from Planned Development-6-Commercial-1/Retail/Multifamily-19/Single Family-8.5/Single Family-7 to Planned Development-6-Retail/Commercial-1/Single Family-7, and to rezone the remainder of said property, consisting of 207.0± acres, to the corresponding Single Family-7 or Single Family-8.5 zoning district, respectively. Purpose: Planned Development-6 will be amended to remove the Lexington development and Liscano Elementary School.
The Lexington development will be removed from Planned Development-6 and placed in the appropriate base zoning district of Single Family-7 or Single Family-8.5. Liscano Elementary School will be removed from Planned Development-6 and placed in a base zoning district of Single Family-8.5

Purpose: The purpose of this zoning request is to amend the development standards and layout of the existing PD to accommodate the development of a hotel/hotel conference center/residential tower with associated restaurant and retail on the northwest corner of Dallas Parkway and John Hickman Parkway within The Gate development.

Purpose: Rescind S-26 for a Child Care Facility. Under the City’s Zoning Ordinance this use is considered a Home Occupation. A Home Occupation is allowed by right on property zoned Single Family-7.

SUP19-0018: George A. Purefoy Parking Facility

Description: A request to rescind Specific Use Permit (S-188) for a Parking Structure (greater than 48-feet in height) on one lot on 5.4+ acres on the northeast corner of and Church Street and Page Street. Zoned Planned Development-153-Mixed Use with Specific Use Permit for a Parking Structure (S-188).

Purpose: Rescind S-188 for a Parking Structure (greater than 48-feet in height). A recent amendment to the Planned Development-153 (ordinance 18-02-05) permits a parking garage not to exceed a height of seventy (70) feet. Therefore, this SUP is no longer necessary.

Purpose: Rescind S-27 for a Learning Center. . Under the City’s Zoning Ordinance this use is considered a Home Occupation. A Home Occupation is allowed by right on property zoned Single Family-7.
