The City has a program designed to make hosting a block party easy, and best of all, it's free! The Block Party Trailer (PDF) is equipped with traffic cones, coolers, tables, chairs, and games. All you'll need to add are people, food, music, and fun!
When you reserve the Block Party Trailer for a day, a City employee will deliver and pick it up for your convenience.
The Block Party Trailer is reserved on a first come, first served basis.
Once scheduled, an email confirmation will be sent to you.
Five Star Neighborhoods
The Five Star Neighborhood Program recognizes Homeowners Associations (HOAs) that take pride in their communities. The City appreciates HOAs and understands the commitment involved to maintain quality neighborhoods. Membership in the Five Star Neighborhood Program indicates an HOA's effort to promote effective communication, management, and community involvement.
The Five Star Neighborhood Program provides signage for member HOAs in their neighborhoods, as well as recognition on the City website that can be shared within the community and throughout the city. With nearly 120 HOAs in Frisco, it is essential to provide a road map that leads to great neighborhoods. Important factors to consider include:
Knowledgeable board leadership
Experienced management
Communication
Fiscal responsibility
How to Apply for the Five Star Neighborhood Program
The City maintains an HOA directory and property management companies that have completed a voluntary registration process. In addition to contact information, this directory includes links to the websites of any associations that included their web address during the registration process. View the HOA Directory.
Submit this form to update information on the HOA Directory.
HOA Round Table
The HOA Round Table is an annual meeting where the Mayor and City staff give presentations to Frisco's HOA board members.
View the links to the PowerPoint presentations from the HOA Round Table meeting on May 13, 2019.
The Police Department needs to have community gate and facility access codes in case of an emergency. HOA board members should ensure their community's Pool and Amenities Center Emergency Contact Information Form (PDF) is filed and up-to-date with the Police Department.
Voluntary Rental Registration for Single-Family Homes
A review of the program for single-family long-term rental registration was completed by the City of Frisco. As a result of this review and historical utilization of the program, City Council has repealed the ordinance and terminated the program.
