Fire Crews Deploy to the Texas Panhandle for Wildfires

(July 19, 2018) Frisco Fire Department was requested to respond to the Wichita Falls, Texas area as a part of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS). Frisco Fire Department will send a Type III engine, along with a type VI engine from Princeton TX, as a strike team assisting in a state wide effort to battle several large wild fires near Wichita Falls, TX.

Crews will leave from Frisco Central Fire Station at 5 a.m., July 20.

Fire crews may be deployed for up to seven days.
