(November 7, 2018) A section of eastbound Main Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Teel Parkway and Legacy Drive starting Saturday, November 10, so that the existing pavement can be reconstructed. Starting at Kyser Way, a lane will be closed for about 600 feet at a time and the work zone will shift east every few days as work progresses. Eastbound Main Street will continuously have a short section of road reduced to one lane for three weeks, with the lane closures expected to end on December 3.
Each lane closure will be in place 24 hours a day so motorists should expect heavy delay on eastbound Main Street between Teel and Legacy during the morning and afternoon rush hours. In order to avoid this delay, drivers could use Eldorado Parkway or Stonebrook Parkway as alternate routes to travel east.
